HST blocks done :)

... Well sort of they are all sewn together so now I just have a bigger pile to chop and press tomorrow. Still all sewn together is more than yesterday so i'm quite pleased.

I've put them all away now and cleared my sewing space a little. I'm thinking about trying to catch up with this QAL. There are so many out in blogland at the moment, they are just popping up all over the place, here, here, here and I'm sure somewhere else but I can't remember where now! :) I'd like to do them all but I think thats a little unrealistic! So I think I will probably start with Amy's since it is described as simple which I need and then perhaps do some others in the future... My to-do list grows ever longer!

On another note this came on MBS this morning.. not only do I like the quilt (KarrieLyne's blog always has beautiful quilts to look at :)
) but I absolutely love the Fandango fabric. Think that will be another on my wish list lol.

Weekend Progress

Well I didn't quite manage to get done all that I wanted to this weekend.

These are done...



...and these are the last squares that need sewing together into HST.




Despite not finishing all the blocks I am still quite pleased with the progress. There is only about 40 blocks left there to sew and then it's just a case of cutting all the squares into HST's and trimming all the dog ear things and then just sewing them all together again!

I'm hoping to get these blocks done so that I can put them away for a little bit and start on maybe at least one quilt along..which are popping up all over the place. And I might eventually have to do them all, but not all at once!
